Maybe the hardest technologic aspect is the construction of the carbon fiber tank because of its complicated shape. The proof of this fact is the number of the parts used to create the mould.

Resin models and further prototype reamed carbon fiber parts are gradually assembled on the existing frame. The given parts are produced by pressing technology. In order to obtain higher stability they are successively tempered.

The result must be an exact product, that is fit for repeated production.

Completed prototype of VM450 Supermoto Racing motorcycle with full carbon fiber set, shortly before its delivery to the customer. Some parts as for example side spoilers, the rear fender or the fuel tank will be probably replaced with cheaper plastic parts in serial production.
